Figure 1.1: Main windows of JAZZJAZZ is a full size MIDI sequencer providing functions like record / play and many edit functions as quantize, copy, transpose, graphical pitch editing, ... multiple undo/redo. It has two main windows operating on whole tracks and single events. There are special functions like GS sound editing and random rhythm generation.
JAZZ++ is an enhanced version of JAZZ providing features like audio sample play/record, audio/midi integration and more. Please note that without a license, audio will be low-pass filtered (sound bad) after a few seconds of playing.
For simplicity, we will in later in this document use the name 'JAZZ' for addressing both the basic version and enhanced version of the software.
