Chorus
This is some kind of universal effect which can produce chorus-like effects.
The operation is quite simple: JAZZ takes a copy of the original sample,
then modifies it according to the settings in the dialog and finally
mixes the modified copy back to the original.
- Delay - delays the signal for the number of seconds/100 specified
here (e.g. a value of 20 means 200 millisec delay).
- Pitch Modulation Frequency - changes the pitch of the signal up
and down controlled by a sine wave LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator), this is
the heart of most chorus effects.
The modulation frequency is set in Hertz/10 (that is, a value of 20 means 2
turnarounds per second). The modulation frequency corresponds to the speed
regulator of a chorus effect.
- Pitch Intensity - the depth of pitch change.
- Pan Freq - changes the pan of the signal to the left and right
controlled by a sine LFO.
- Stereo Spread - enhances the stereo effect of the output. You
may even try to convert a mono signal to a stereo signal by setting Delay
to 20 or so, turn pitch intensity and pan spread off and set stereo spread
to maximum.
- Effect Volume - the volume of the modified signal in % of the
original.
