Filter
This adds high quality filters to your effects gallery. You may choose
one of the following filter types:
- Low Pass - lets pass low frequencies, the volume of high
frequencies is reduced (some kind of bass booster).
Frequencies below the corner frequency will become louder, frequencies above
will become more quiet. The bandwidth value is ignored.
- High Pass - the other way round, the volume of low frequencies is
reduced and high frequencies can pass the filter (some kind of treble booster).
Frequencies above the corner frequency will become louder, frequencies below
will become more quiet. The bandwidth value is ignored.
- Band Pass - increases the volume of middle frequencies. The corner
frequency is the frequency with maximum volume. The bandwidth is a value
in % of the corner frequency and specifies, what frequencies above
and below the corner frequency may pass the filter.
- Band Stop - decreases the volume of middle frequencies.
The feedback value controls the gradient of the filter. In case of a low
pass filter for example, it controls how much the volume above the
corner frequency is reduced. A value of 1 or 2 is sufficient in most
cases.
